Most fibre broadband connections aren’t really fibre at all. They still rely on copper cable to run from the cabinet and into your house. It’s the copper cable that slows you down, causing buffering and reliability issues when trying to connect multiple devices at the same time. Everything we do is on the fibre network, provided by CityFibre, which provides a full-fibre connection into your home.
The term 'superfast' broadband can be confusing. Superfast doesn’t mean high speed gigabit connectivity. Superfast connections are only part-fibre, which means that reliability can be affected and speeds are lower.
You can still register your interest in Fibrehop and we'll get in touch when we can deliver you a service.
When you place your order you will be able to book an installation slot. It usually takes around 5 days from ordering your service to your installation date. We will post your router straight away so that this is ready for the installers to connect.
